The third annual Build It Green Home Tour is being held in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties on June 1st from 10am to 5pm. This one day self-guided tour showcases green homes and will introduce attendees to homeowners and building professionals who have built or remodeled green. These houses look great, save money and are easy on the environment.
Discover green materials like fiber-cement siding, recycled wood decking, bamboo flooring and recycled glass counter tops. Learn about green technologies as well, including radiant floor heating, green roofs, grey water systems, solar hot water, and solar electric systems.
